Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts to CATALYST: Journal of Economic, Management, Business, and Accounting undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure high academic and scientific standards. The review process follows these steps:

Initial Check by the Editorial Team
The editorial team conducts a preliminary assessment of the manuscript to check its compliance with the journal's scope, formatting guidelines, and ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic criteria may be rejected or returned for revision before proceeding to the next stage.

Double-Blind Peer Review
The journal employs a double-blind peer-review process, meaning that both reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other. The manuscript is assigned to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, relevance, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field.

Reviewer Feedback and Author Revisions
Reviewers provide detailed feedback, including recommendations for acceptance, minor/major revisions, or rejection. Authors are given a specific timeframe to revise and resubmit their manuscript based on reviewer comments.

Editorial Decision
After receiving the revised manuscript, the editorial team evaluates whether the revisions sufficiently address the reviewers’ concerns. The manuscript may undergo further review if necessary before a final decision is made.

Final Acceptance and Publication
If the manuscript meets all academic and ethical standards, it is formally accepted for publication. The final version undergoes copyediting and formatting before being published online as an open-access article.

Commitment to Transparency and Integrity
The editorial team of CATALYST is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and the highest scholarly integrity in the peer-review process.
