Archiving Policy

The Journal of CSR and Sustainable Development is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content. To ensure that the articles remain available and accessible to future generations of researchers and practitioners, we have implemented a robust archiving policy.

Digital Archiving
All articles published in the Journal of CSR and Sustainable Development are archived in trusted digital repositories and databases to ensure their long-term preservation. The journal collaborates with major repositories, including PKP (Public Knowledge Project), CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), and LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe). These systems provide digital preservation and allow articles to remain accessible even in the event of journal closure or other issues that may affect the hosting platform.

Open Access and Availability
As an open access journal, all articles published in the Journal of CSR and Sustainable Development are freely available online. The articles are deposited in both the journal's website and external repositories to ensure wide visibility, easy access, and long-term preservation. The journal’s content will always remain available under a Creative Commons license.

Archival Metadata
All published articles are assigned permanent identifiers (DOIs) and relevant metadata, including title, authorship, abstract, keywords, and publication date, to ensure their proper indexing and searchability in various scholarly databases and search engines. The DOI provides a stable, permanent link to each article, facilitating citation and reference.

Content Backup
The journal maintains regular backups of its entire content on secure servers. These backups include all issues of the journal, articles, metadata, and associated supplementary material. Backups are performed on a routine basis to ensure the safety and integrity of the journal’s archive.

Retraction and Removal
In the event that an article needs to be retracted or removed due to ethical violations, plagiarism, or other significant reasons, a notice of retraction will be clearly visible on the article's page. While the article will remain archived, it will be marked with a retraction notice to maintain the transparency of the publishing process.

Partnership with External Repositories
In addition to our internal archiving practices, the Journal of CSR and Sustainable Development partners with several major external academic databases, including Google Scholar, DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), Scopus (for relevant indexing), and SINTA (Indonesian Science and Technology Index). These collaborations ensure wider dissemination of the journal's content and contribute to its long-term discoverability.

Long-Term Access Commitment
The journal remains committed to providing long-term access to its content. In case of closure, all articles will be archived with a third-party archiving service to ensure continuous availability. Our primary goal is to make the published research on CSR and sustainable development freely accessible to global audiences now and in the future.

Commitment to Open Access and Archiving
The Journal of CSR and Sustainable Development believes that open access combined with robust archiving practices is essential for advancing knowledge and research in the field of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development.
