Peer Review Process

The Journal of CSR and Sustainable Development follows a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of the articles published. Our process is designed to provide constructive feedback to authors while maintaining high standards of academic excellence.

Initial Submission Review
Upon receiving a manuscript, the editorial team conducts an initial assessment to determine its relevance to the scope of the journal, adherence to submission guidelines, and overall quality. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria are returned to the authors for revision or rejection.

Assignment to Reviewers
If the manuscript passes the initial review, it is assigned to two or more independent, expert reviewers in the relevant field. These reviewers are chosen based on their expertise and research interests. They evaluate the manuscript’s originality, scientific rigor, clarity, and its contribution to the field of CSR and sustainable development.

Blind Review
We follow a double-blind peer review process, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other throughout the process. This ensures unbiased feedback and confidentiality.

Reviewer Feedback
Reviewers provide detailed comments and recommendations, which may include suggestions for improvement, additional references, or revisions to the analysis. Their feedback is based on the manuscript’s scientific merit, originality, methodology, and relevance to the journal's focus.

Decision Making
Once the reviewers' feedback is received, the editorial team makes the final decision on the manuscript. The decisions can range from acceptance with no or minor revisions to rejection, depending on the feedback and the manuscript's overall quality.

Author Revisions
If revisions are requested, the authors are expected to address the reviewers’ comments and resubmit the manuscript for a second round of review, along with a detailed response letter outlining how each comment has been addressed.

Final Acceptance
When the revisions are reviewed and deemed satisfactory by both the reviewers and the editorial team, the manuscript is accepted for publication. The accepted manuscript is then processed for final formatting and publication.

Publication
Once published, the article becomes freely accessible to the public under the open access model.

Commitment to High Standards
The Journal of CSR and Sustainable Development is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of peer review to ensure that only well-researched, impactful, and high-quality articles are published.
